11+ Wizards Classes Terms and Conditions
A £75 deposit is payable upon registration and is required to reserve your child’s place. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the course (September) but may be forfeited in the event of a child withdrawing from the course part way through the year. 11+Wizards reserves the right to retain the deposit depending on the circumstances. In the event of cancellation, fees will be calculated for classes attended and excess fees will be refunded.
Parents are invoiced for tuition in half term blocks and full payment is due on the first lesson of each block.
If 11+ Wizards cancel a lesson, then an extra session will be arranged to replace it or the missed lesson will be refunded. We are unable to offer a refund for lessons missed due to illness or other absence but will always supply any work missed.
Homework should take a maximum of 30 minutes a day. Its aim is to give practice and consolidate class teaching. Parents are required to mark their children’s work with them to give immediate feedback. This is essential for good progress and optimal learning.
Health & Safety
11+ Wizards takes its responsibilities for the health and safety of its pupils seriously. All staff members are subject to a thorough check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and are qualified to administer first aid when needed.
Fire prevention, precautions and equipment are reviewed and checked regularly.
Pupil Arrival and Collection
It is the parents’ responsibility to bring their child to the venue door before their lesson and to collect them from the door at the end of their lesson. Children should not leave the building under any circumstances unless accompanied by a known responsible adult.
Food and Drink Policy
Food and drink (including chewing gum and sweets) are not permissible, with the exception of bottled wa-ter. Children attending for one and a half hour sessions are given a drink and snack during the lesson.
