About Us
Our 11+ classes are dedicated to providing children with their best chance of passing the 11 plus tests to gain entry to Grammar schools in Buckinghamshire and Slough.
11+Wizards is owned and run by Kirsty Flynn and Jackie Gandhi, qualified primary school teachers with many years experience teaching in schools and privately, from 11+ tuition to GCSE level.
As parents of children who have sat the exam, we have first hand experience of what the process is like from a parent’s point of view too.
We use a dynamic and innovative approach to enable children to prepare for these important transfer tests in a friendly environment, developing confidence and competence. 11+Wizards has many testimonials from happy parents and students who have benefitted from our positive and fresh approach to 11 plus preparation.

Through skilful co-teaching we maximise focus and motivation.
Two teachers, dedicated to providing the best learning opportunities, work collaboratively to teach the group of 12 students. Each session is broken down into two or three main activities, with leading and supporting roles alternated by the two teachers. There is always more than one way of teaching a concept. Co-teaching ensures that every child is given the best opportunity of understanding regardless of their learning style.
We focus on 3 areas of learning: Numerical, Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning. Our courses are skilfully formulated and developed year-on-year, in response to the latest exam format defined by GL Assessment.
We have a proven track record and each year a large proportion of students have passed the 11 plus transfer test and gained a place at Grammar School.

Group Size
Lessons are taught in small groups by qualified, experienced teachers, with the maximum ratio of 6 children to 1 teacher ensuring that every pupil receives the individual attention they deserve.
Total class size never exceeds 12 children.
Teaching Process
Lessons consist of a blend of activities, games and worksheets and are designed to be interactive and fun. All materials and most workbooks are provided.
All 11+Wizard teachers are DBS checked, first aid certified and liability insured.
